PIANO
Our piano lessons cover the entire spectrum, from young beginners to fully-fledged classical training. All genres and styles are available for study with our various instructors, including rock, jazz, and multimedia music from television, movies, and video games.
GUITAR
Our guitar lessons vary greatly, depending on the student’s interests, skill level, and experience. Beginners starting from scratch are offered a holistic approach that includes fretboard mapping, music literacy, and instrument care and maintenance. We offer lessons for every type and style of guitar: acoustic, nylon (classical,) and electric.
VOICE
Voice lessons at DocRocker Music Academy are custom fit for every student who signs up. Depending on age, gender, style, range, and performance goals, we will pair you with whichever of our available teachers is best fit for you. Lesson plans, practice guides, and vocal warmups are provided by your teacher.
STRINGS
We offer beginner to advanced lessons on violin and viola. Many of our teachers are a perfect fit for elementary school students just getting started in their school orchestras, and our violin/viola specialists can teach high school students looking to take their playing further.
PERCUSSION
We can get you started on learning the various pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments played in concert band, marching band, and orchestra. These instruments include snare drum and bell set to start, and our curriculum prepares students for application to bass drum, cymbals, marimba/xylophone, and timpani in school settings.
WINDS & BRASS
Our instrumental teachers specialize in every instrument. K-12 certified music educators must learn basic mastery of every concert band instrument, and many of our teachers on staff play multiple of these instruments professionally. These instruments include clarinet, saxophone, flute, trombone, and trumpet. Please inquire further, if you have any questions about a specific instrument.
MUSIC THEORY
We offer advanced music theory lessons for high school students looking to get an edge in their advanced placement music theory classes. We also offer more specialized music theory tutelage for college applicants and college level music majors.
SONGWRITING
Songwriting lessons include coaching on various aspects of the craft, including song form, arranging/instrumentation, and recording techniques. Due to the specifically individual nature of songwriting lessons, please inquire further, if you are interested in songwriting lessons with us.
COMPOSITION
Our composition lessons are custom tailored to the artistic vision of the student. In the past, we have successfully helped students craft portfolios for several academic purposes, including local and regional composition competitions, professional recordings of student works, and admittance into college music composition programs.

The Intro Pack is the first lesson package through which every student begins study at DocRocker Music Academy.
The Intro Pack is your first month with the company, and it includes your one free trial lesson, and the rest of your first month at our highest discounted rate.
After completing the Intro Pack, students are eligible for every other lesson package we offer.
